Elderly lesbians and gays speak out about their reclusive former lives and satisfying present relationships and discuss their part in making LGBT life what it was in the 1980s, coming from a society that was considerably more hostile.
This film talks to many older lesbians and gay men about their early lives and also the issues around growing old. Given that many of the interviewees grew up in the Twenties and Thirties, the film offers an insight into how LGBT people coped in a time when we were either deemed to be sick, criminal or dangerous.
